OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 in India, with the official release date set for September 17. With anticipation building, the company has teased the design and key features of its upcoming true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, which are expected to be a more affordable alternative to the OnePlus Nord Buds3 Pro that was released earlier this year in July.

According to the official OnePlus India product page, the Nord Buds 3 will be available in two color options—Harmonic Gray and a second yet-to-be-confirmed shade, rumored to be called Melodic White. The Harmonic Gray version sports metallic accents, while the Melodic White features an ivory-like finish.
The design of the Nord Buds 3 is consistent with the in-ear style seen on previous OnePlus models, complete with silicone ear tips for comfort. The earphones have rounded stems, with charging connectors positioned at the bottom. Additionally, the pebble-shaped charging case is magnetic, featuring the OnePlus branding and an LED charging indicator on the front.
Key Features and Specifications
One of the standout features of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capability, which supports up to 32dB of noise reduction. The earphones will also include BassWave 2.0 technology, promising enhanced bass performance for users.
According to leaks by tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the Nord Buds 3 will house 12.4mm titanium drivers and feature TÜV Rheinland Battery Health certification. The earphones are expected to support Google Fast Pair for easy connection and dual-device pairing. Additionally, they may offer a low-latency mode of 94ms, making them ideal for gaming and media consumption.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Nord Buds3 could provide up to 43 hours of use, thanks to efficient battery optimization. This extensive battery life is a significant feature for those seeking long-lasting performance on a budget.
Pricing Expectations
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro is currently priced at Rs. 3,299 in India, and the Nord Buds 3 is expected to launch at a lower price point. While the Nord Buds 3 shares several similarities with the Pro model—such as the dynamic drivers and connectivity features—its ANC performance will be toned down compared to the 49dB ANC offered in the Pro version.
As the OnePlus Nord Buds3 prepares to enter the Indian market, it promises to deliver solid performance at a more affordable price than its Pro counterpart.
