Oppo has officially introduced the Oppo A5 Pro 5G, the latest addition to its A-series lineup, in China. The smartphone comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water. It features 360-degree drop resistance and is designed to withstand extreme low temperatures of up to -35°C. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, the phone is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and a 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired fast charging.
Oppo A5 Pro 5G Pricing and Availability
The Oppo A5 Pro 5G is available in multiple configurations:
- 8GB + 256GB: CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹23,300)
- 8GB + 512GB / 12GB + 256GB: CNY 2,199 (roughly ₹25,700)
- 12GB + 512GB: CNY 2,499 (roughly ₹29,200)
The smartphone is currently available for pre-order in China through Oppo’s official online store. It will go on sale starting December 27th. Buyers can choose from four color options: New Year Red, Quartz White, Rock Black, and Sandstone Purple.

The 6,000mAh battery supports 80W Super Flash Charge for fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. For security, it features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The Hunter antenna architecture enhances signal reception in challenging environments like elevators by doubling the reception channels from two to four.
